Become a Supernumerary
Have you ever dreamed of being part of one of OCP's Opera Productions on Stage at the Academy of Music? Apply to become a super, and your dream might just come true.
A super will never sing an aria or have a starring role, but supers are important members of the cast, no matter how small their role may seem. Supers appear as townspeople, servants, soldiers and many other characters. Sometimes they have multiple roles in one show. Whatever they play, supers provide detail, authenticity and texture to the production. For more information and to fill out an application please visit the Supernumeraries websites at www.phillysuper.com.
Volunteer Opportunities
Another way to get on the stage is to join the OCP Volunteer Program.
Opera Company of Philadelphia understands the importance of a strong volunteer base that believes in, and is motivated to achieve, our goals and objectives. Volunteers play a vital role by helping to increase financial support, reducing costs, and providing skilled assistance.
Email volunteer@operaphila.org for more information.
