Aix-en-Provence

OPERA PHILADELPHIA EXECUTIVE TRAVEL PROGRAM

TRIP TO AIX-EN-PROVENCE
SUNDAY, JULY 13 – TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2014

Opera Philadelphia's Executive Travel Program offers once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences to our most generous supporters. This July we journey to the prestigious  Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, where we will take in performances of Rossini’s Il turco in Italia starring Lawrence Brownlee, Handel’s Ariodante, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and theatrically-enhanced performances of Schubert’s song cycle Winterreise and Bach’s sacred cantatas.

Of course, we will experience many of the region’s other cultural delights. We’ll visit a lavender distillery, tour historic wineries, dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and take private escorted daytrips to enchanting Provençal villages. There will also be plenty of free time to explore Aix on your own.

Our home in Aix will be the new luxury 5-star Renaissance Aix-en-Provence hotel. Located in the heart of the city, it is within walking distance to dining, theaters, and shops.

Invitations, including pricing details, will be mailed in the coming weeks. Please note that this trip is available exclusively to General Director’s Council and Chairman’s Council members of Opera Philadelphia and their guests. Should you have any questions, please contact Christina Deemer at deemer@operaphila.org or 215.893.5904.

Opera Philadelphia would like to thank Rosenbluth Travel for their partnership.
