The Curtis Insitute of Music presents Alban Berg's 20th Century masterpiece, Wozzeck in association with Opera Company of Philadelphia and Kimmel Center Presents on March 13, 15 and 18, 2009. 

Performances star Curtis alumnus and Tony Award-winning baritone Shuler Hensley (Oklahoma!, Young Frankenstein) in the title role.

Student Opportunities
The Curtis Institute will be examining the music of the Second Viennese School throughout 2009. Part of this educational process includes partnering with colleges and universities in the area. The Curtis Institute will work in conjunction with select universities to present special classes surrounding the music and events that influenced the Second Viennese School.  Some of these students will attend the Wozzeck final dress rehearsal in March, 2009.

Curtis Institute Student Concerts: Exploring the Second Viennese School
