Tonight and Sunday: Two Final Chances to See CYRANO!
Tomorrow: Join us for the Academy of Music Open House!
Only Two More Performances of the Ultimate Romance CYRANO
|
"... utterly sincere, and affecting: a love story that comes from the heart." - The Washington Post
"The opera wins your trust and keeps it." - The Philadelphia Inquirer |

| "OCP is to be commended for having the sheer bravery to present as much new opera as it does..." - The Philadelphia City Paper
Today, the Washington Post wrote an exciting story on composer David DiChiera and his new work Cyrano, calling it "... a new opera that feels old.... the music is melodious and tonal." On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer headline read "New Cyrano defies the odds, scores a success." Now, you have just two chances left to see this romantic masterpiece that won't be performed again in 2008!
With Romanian baritone Marian Pop, who was praised as "almost too good: Even with his distended nose, he sings so well and commands the stage so effortlessly, you can't see why his beloved Roxane goes for anyone else" (Inquirer), and up-and-coming stars Evelyn Pollock and Stephen Costello co-starring, don't miss this romantic, new opera that will capture your heart!
