General Director

Institutional Giving Coordinator
The Institutional Giving Coordinator will collaborate with the Director of Institutional Giving to support the company’s artistic, educational, and strategic initiatives through Opera Philadelphia foundation, corporate, and government campaigns.
Apprentice Teaching Artist
The Apprentice Teaching Artist will work alongside the Community Initiatives team to support in the preparation of lessons and classroom instruction with the Teaching Artists.
Chorus
The Opera Philadelphia Chorus will hold auditions for the 2024-2025 Season on April 25 and April 29 at the Academy of Music Rehearsal Hall, Philadelphia. While there are limited openings for the coming season, we invite singers of all voice parts to submit materials in consideration for an audition. Please send a resume or CV, recent photo, and recent recording to chorus@operaphila.org by April 1; candidates will be notified by email the first week in April and those selected to audition in person will be given an audition time then. Opera Philadelphia Chorus members must live in the greater Philadelphia area.

Become a Supernumerary
Have you ever dreamed of being part of an opera production onstage at the Academy of Music? Apply to become a “super” – a non-singing extra – and your dream just might come true!
A super will never sing an aria or having a starring role, but supers are important members of the cast no matter how small their roles may seem. Supers often appear as townspeople, servants, soldiers, and many other characters. They may even have multiple roles to play in one opera. Whatever the part, supers help to flesh out scenes and add detail and authenticity to a production. Our super needs vary from show to show, but at different times we need men, women, boys, and girls, of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
