Ticket Exchanges & Donations
TICKET EXCHANGE INSTRUCTIONS
Subscribers and donors may exchange their tickets for any other performance of the same production. Tickets are valued for exchange until one business day prior to your performance.* Subscribers have access to special seating inventory. Every effort is made to exchange your tickets into comparable seats on the date you wish to attend.
*If you have a last-minute emergency, please contact Subscriber Services at 215.732.8400. Please leave a message if the office is closed. Messages are checked up to 90 minutes prior to performance time.
To exchange tickets for FREE, please use one of the following methods and provide the information listed below:

- MAIL: Academy House, 1420 Locust Street, Suite 210, Philadelphia, PA 19102
Enclose your tickets with a note indicating the date or dates that you wish to attend. Please provide a phone number or email address so we may contact you to confirm your new tickets and delivery method.
Please include the following information:
- Use the production name as the email subject header
- Account Number from your Opera ID card or the bottom left corner of your ticket
- Original performance date and seat locations to be exchanged
- Preferred performance date or dates in order of preference
- Current contact information (email and/or phone number)
Please destroy your original tickets upon receipt of confirmation.
Or, visit Subscriber Services at Academy House, 1420 Locust Street, Suite 210. Subscriber Services is located on the 2nd floor and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
You may also exchange your tickets by phone at 215.732.8400 for a fee of $4.50 per ticket. (Exchange fees are waived for Patron Program members.)
Tax Deductible Ticket Donation
If you are unable to use your tickets, please consider donating them back for a tax deductible receipt by calling up to 90 minutes prior to performance time at 215.732.8400. You will be asked to write "Donated" across the face of each ticket in ink and either return them by mail or faxed photocopy to 215.893.7801. Once your tickets have been received, your receipt will be mailed approximately one month after the production closes. Thank you for your tax -deductible donation!
If you misplace your tickets, call Subscriber Services at 215.732.8400 and duplicate tickets will be issued. If you forget your tickets or lose them on the way to the theater, stop by the Subscriber Services table in the lobby of the Academy of Music or the Perelman Theater, and we will issue you a pass for your original seats.
