The Opera Company of Philadelphia's 2011-2012 Opera at the Academy series, featuring Carmen, The Abduction from the Seraglio, and Manon Lescaut, takes place at the historic Academy of Music, located on the southwest corner of Broad and Locust Streets, four blocks south of City Hall.
The Aurora Series for Chamber Opera at the Perelman, featuring the Curtis Opera Theatre production of Elegy for Young Lovers in association with OCP and Kimmel Center Presents, and OCP's production of Dark Sisters, takes place at the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Broad and Spruce Streets.
It is suggested that you arrive 30 minutes before the performance. Please be sure to leave ample time to account for weather, traffic conditions, and parking when traveling to the Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Out of respect for the artists and the patrons already seated, latecomers will be seated only during appropriate breaks in the performance or at the intermission.
