Gina J. Range is a seasoned fundraising professional with over 25 years of experience. As a native Philadelphian, Ms. Range has supported numerous arts institutions in the city, including the Philadelphia Orchestra where she worked for 14 years. During that time, she designed and managed major fundraising campaigns, help shape their development department and created structure for their successful endowment and capital campaigns. Ms. Range also served as the development lead for the Philadelphia Orchestra’s conversion to top arts and culture customer relationship module, Tessitura.

She spearheaded fundraising efforts for Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, the African American Museum in Philadelphia, and most recently the August Wilson African American Cultural Center (AWAACC), a nationally renowned multi-disciplinary performing arts center located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement. In her role with the AWAACC, Ms. Range raised funds to ensure access to programs for all who wished to participate. The AWAACC works with more than 600 artists to produce over 100 programs and events annually.  For every programming dollar spent at the AWAACC, .90 is spent on FREE programming for the community, including visual art exhibits, virtual programs, and education and community activities. She helped draw new and increased funding year over year, created strategic partnerships to help grow earned revenue and increase national visibility, including that of national funders such as Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies.

Ms. Range serves on the board of national breast cancer organization, Living Beyond Breast Cancer as Vice Chair, and as a member of the Black Breast Cancer Advisory Board, she also serves as a member of the Philanthropy Committee for her alma mater, Arcadia University.

Being raised in a family entrenched in arts and culture, her love of opera comes naturally, and being a native Philadelphian, she has attended many performances of Opera Philadelphia since she was in teenager.
