Sounds of Learning Dress Rehearsal Program 2020–2021 Registration
UPDATE: Guided by the current global health pandemic and recommendations from city and state health experts, Opera Philadelphia has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel Festival O20 and postpone many of the operas and events planned for our theaters.
Verdi’s Macbeth starring Sondra Radvanovsky has been postponed to fall 2023, the world premiere of Woman with Eyes Closed by Jennifer Higdon and Jerre Dye has been postponed to fall 2021; and concert performances of Oedipus Rex are postponed to winter 2022.
Opera Philadelphia will continue to monitor developments related to the pandemic and follow city and state guidelines. We plan to return to the Academy of Music in spring 2021 with performances of Puccini’s Tosca starring Ana María Martínez.
While we are unable to gather in person, Opera Philadelphia is working to adapt the Dress Rehearsal Program to support online learning. Further details of this transition are forthcoming.
