Breaking the Waves Audio On-Demand

The following recording was made during a live performance of Breaking the Waves on Thursday, September 29, 2016, the penultimate performance in its World Premiere run at Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. This chamber opera by composer Missy Mazzoli and librettist Royce Vavrek is based on the 1996 Academy Award-nominated film by Lars von Trier. Support for the Breaking the Waves audio stream has been provided by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
