Paul Groves in Recital

Tenor Paul Groves, starring as the fallen preacher Veasey in Cold Mountain, performs a solo recital in the beautiful Academy of Music ballroom. Recently seen in the Metropolitan Opera’s new production of Berg’s Lulu, Groves’ recital work has been described as “dramatically expressive… Mr. Groves sang with potent intensity, his rich voice illuminating the nuances of the declamatory vocal part.” (The New York Times)
