Between the Notes: The Marriage of Figaro

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
Rendell Room
300 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA

Join us to explore Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, considered one of the greatest operas ever written. Lily Kass, a scholar from the University of Pennsylvania’s Music Department, will explore the class relations at the heart of The Marriage of Figaro. Through close analysis of scenes from the opera, we will learn about the conventions of characterization and watch as they break down. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP by March 29.

Available to Contributor level members ($100) and above. Reservations required.
