Opera Philadelphia welcomes guests with disabilities and is committed to providing enjoyable experiences to all patrons. The following accessible performance features are available at Opera Philadelphia performances:
- Assisted Listening Devices are available for all performances in The Academy of Music, The Wilma Theater, and The Suzanne Roberts Theatre. All assistive listening devices are available on a first come, first served basis. Please inquire with House Ushers upon arrival.
- Audio Description is available at select performances listed below. Audio Description devices are available in venue lobbies on a first come, first served basis. Please inquire with House Ushers upon arrival.
- Braille & Large Print Programs are available at all Festival O23 performances. These resources are free and available in all venue lobbies. Request a program from your House Usher.
- Captions (Supertitles) are available at all Opera Philadelphia performances in the Academy of Music, The Wilma Theater, and The Suzanne Roberts Theatre.
- Wheelchair Accessibility is available at Festival O23 venues with additional information listed below. Wheelchair accessible seats to performances may be purchased online or by calling Guest Services.

ACCESS Card
Opera Philadelphia is proud to join Art-Reach as an ACCESS Partner! You can now use Art-Reach’s ACCESS Card, which provides $2 tickets to those from a low-income household or household with disabilities, to purchase tickets at Opera Philadelphia.
Present your ACCESS Card and receive tickets for up to four people, at $2 each. Visitors must present their ACCESS Card along with a photo ID at the box office on the day of their performance. Festival O23: Venue Information
Entrances: The Academy of Music has a wheelchair accessible entrance on the south side of the building on Broad Street which allows for direct entry to the main level and box office. An Academy of Music usher is stationed at this accessible entrance.
Seating: Wheelchair accessible seats are available on the first three levels of The Academy of Music and are marked when purchasing tickets online.
Restrooms: Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the "Canteen" level (basement level) of the Academy of Music. An elevator is available to access the Canteen from all levels of the Academy of Music.
Parking: The Kimmel Center Garage located at 330 S. Broad Street has a limited number of wheelchair accessible parking spaces. Contact the Kimmel Cultural Campus’ Patron Services department at 215.893.1999 (ext. 8) to make a reservation. Accessible spaces are issued on a first come, first served basis. Wheelchair accessible elevators are available from all level of the parking garage.
Entrances: The Wilma Theater has one entrance/exit facing Broad Street which is used by all patrons. Patrons do not have to navigate any stairs to enter or exit the building. The box office is located to the right just past the main entrance. Watch a video tour of The Wilma Theater here >>

Restrooms: There are two accessible, gender-neutral restrooms on the first floor near the box office.

Seating: Accessible seats are located across both the orchestra (1st floor) and mezzanine (2nd floor) levels of the theater, each being wheelchair accessible. Accessible seats are marked when purchasing tickets online.
Restrooms: There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms located on the first floor of the building.
Parking: The Suzanne Roberts Theater recommends the following parking garages: ABM Parking (417 S. Broad Street), Parkway – Avenue of the Arts (1501 Spruce Street), DoubleTree Public Parking (237 S. Broad Street), and E-Z Park (1441 South Street).
Entrances: To avoid steps, patrons can use a ramp entrance located along Delancey Street between 19th and 20th Street. Please contact AVA Box Office Manager Bill Buddendorf in advance at bbuddendorf@avaopera.org or 215.732.1685 ext. 17 so that we know you will be entering from that entrance.
Seating: Afternoons at AVA performances are general admission and without assigned seating. Wheelchairs accessible seats are available throughout the Helen Corning Warden Theater at AVA.
