At live performances, Audio Description is live, verbal narration of stage action, actors’ facial expressions, sets, costumes, lighting, props, and more. Prior to the performance, guests are also invited to tune into Pre-Show Notes where further details about the plot, translations, and venue will be shared. Guests are able to connect to Audio Description by downloading the LiveVoice app to their personal mobile device and entering a unique 6-digit performance code at the venue (see below). Guests are responsible for bringing their own noise-cancelling headphones or ear piece. Alternate accommodations will be made for those who are unable to provide their own mobile device or headset.
