Opera Philadelphia Costume Director Millie Hiibel will lead you on a tour of our Costume Shop and explain the process that she and her talented team undertake to prepare for each of our operas. See step by step how a costume goes from an idea to a sketch, through numerous adaptations and fittings, to finally end up onstage in the beautiful operatic spectacle that you love. You will get the chance to see some of our amazing costumes up close and hear behind-the-scenes stories.
