NEW this season—two sessions!

Our guest speakers for this program are Stephanie Budin, Professor of Ancient History from Rutgers University, who will speak about the mythological themes in this opera, and University of Pennsylvania musicologist Maria Murphy, who will share the historical background and synopsis of the opera. Ms. Murphy will offer audio examples as part of her presentation and there will be a question and answer session at the end of the program.
