Union League Open House

Each year, the Abraham Lincoln Foundation opens the doors of the Union League to the public for an open house. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the architecture and art of the League house through docent-led tours, view the exhibit 1865: Triumph and Tragedy before it closes, and learn about rarely-seen objects from the collections.

Living historians will portray important Civil War-era figures such as Clara Barton and Morton McMichael, Philadelphia post-war mayor and founding member of the League.  

The event is open to the public and FREE of charge. Reservations are not required. Please enter through the 15th Street entrance at 15th and Sansom Streets.
