Devan to discuss the reimagined 2020–2021 Season and the upcoming broadcast premiere of Cycles of My Being, premiering on the Opera Philadelphia Channel on November 20.

Composed by multi-instrumentalist and Composer in Residence Tyshawn Sorey with lyrics by Terrance Hayes and Lawrence Brownlee, Cycles of My Being first premiered with the company in 2018 and focuses on what it means to be a Black man living in America today. Join us to hear from Larry about the song cycle's return to Opera Philadelphia and its significance in 2020.
