Celebrate the season with concerts from Opera Philadelphia friends!

It's the holiday season and the musicians of Philadelphia are giving the gift of song!

Members of the Opera Philadelphia Chorus, the Teen Voices of the City Ensemble, and other Opera Philadelphia friends such as The Bearded Ladies and the Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society will be busy this season spreading holiday cheer throughout the city. Music of Stillness & Christmas Dreams

The Penn Chorale, conducted by Opera Philadelphia Chorus Master Elizabeth Braden, presents "Music of Stillness & Christmas Dreams" on Sunday, December 3.

The concert opens with the words "There will be rest…and the music of stillness, holy and low" and closes with this text: "What dreams may come, both dark and deep… as I surrender unto sleep." And in between, we sing of Christmas, and of winter – familiar carols, and newer works blended into a dreamy Christmas afternoon.

All are welcome to attend this free concert!

Rittenhouse Tree Lighting Ceremony

East Passyunk Opera Project Holiday Caroling

ePOP's Holiday Carolers are back! They will be progressing down East Passyunk Avenue for the Avenue's 2nd Annual Hot Chocolate Crawl on Saturday, December 9. Caroling begin at 11:00 a.m. and the carolers will make their way down the avenue until 5:00 p.m., and into the evening, stopping at your favorite restaurants and shops along the way! Come out and celebrate with soprano Elise Mark, soprano Rachael Long, mezzo-soprano Amanda Staub, tenor Samual Keeler, and baritone Stephen Dagrosa! A Soulful Christmas
